Velocity
The ultimate performance from PD. The Velocity is part of a new series of ultra-high performance canopies and is suitable only for very experienced jumpers, which have flown small elliptics for a while and are confident to be able to handle this awesome performance. Its structure with cross braces and the almost closed leading edge give this canopy very clean aerodynamics and stable flight attitude.
The Velocity has the widest speed area of all canopies and can be flown also with a high wing loading. Its performance can develop very "explosively”. The canopy reacts very fast and with an unbelievable dive on front riser pulls, toggle inputs or body movements in the harness. With a high wing load and a controlled but aggressive approach awesome long swoops over the turf are possible. Still, straight-on standard landings are not a problem. Who learns to control this performance, will be enthusiastic of this fantastic canopy. The very first couple of jumps on this canopy should be flown conservatively, to be able to approach the awesome performance and its limitations slowly.
