Teardrop Superfly
The Tear drop comes from England and is marketed for many years all over Europe. It offers all advantages of a modern rig and is excellently suited not only for the freeflyer but also for the regular formation skydiver. The design is dominated by the POP-TOP Reserve Pilot Chute, sitting in plain view on top of the reserve container. The harness fits nice and comfortably. In the shoulder- chest area the straps are running slightly inward, preventing slipping of the straps from the shoulders.
All hardware and the 3 Ring System are normally delivered in stainless steel. The rig is Velcro free. The padding of the back part and the leg straps is excellent. Mounting the reserve pilot chute outside the reserve container provides for a quick and clean opening of the reserve parachute, because it does not have to open the flaps first. The Tear Drop can optionally be ordered with chest and hip rings. The choice of colors and container fabrics is very large. Besides the well known materials as Cordura and Parapack, the rig can also be ordered made from leather, Alien Skin or Alcantara fabric at additional cost. Delivery time depends on order situation and is between 6 and 12 weeks.
